Historical Notes
Originally from Guyana, Hardai Parbhu lived in the Bronx. She worked in financial services support at Aon Corporation, where she was known for her kindness and her caring nature. On September 11, Hardai was at work on the 100th floor of the South Tower. After Flight 11 struck the North Tower, she evacuated, helping others descend to the 78th floor. She was there when Flight 175 hit. Hardai was 42 years old.
