Historical Notes
Providence, Rhode Island, native Amy Jarret lived in North Smithfield with her father and brothers. She attended Villanova University, where she met her boyfriend, Kyle. Amy was a fan of her alma mater’s basketball team and also shared her love of University of Notre Dame football with her father. A United Airlines flight attendant, on September 11, Amy was working aboard Flight 175. She was 28 years old.

As a teenager, Amy Jarret was active in theater. She was a member of the drama club at her high school in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, as well as two other theater companies. This program was from Amy’s performance in the Theatre Company of Rhode Island’s 1987 production of Cheaper by the Dozen. She played the character Martha, a daughter growing up in a large family. After college, Amy became a flight attendant.
