Curator's Comment When Margaret Benson moved to Rockaway, New Jersey, with her husband and their two children, she began to teach religious education classes at St. Celia Roman Catholic Church. Later, she became a Eucharistic Minister, offering Holy Communion to elderly and hospitalized parishioners unable to attend Mass. She habitually removed her watch whenever she returned home from her job in human resources for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She wore this watch to her office on the 71st floor of the North Tower on September 11, 2001. Her rings and watch were later found and were returned to her husband by PAPD officers. HIDE
