Historical Notes
The World Trade Center was the corporate home of the Port Authority, which built, owned, and operated the complex. The agency’s World Trade Department was directly responsible for operating the buildings. This department issued jackets to operations staff aiding in the restoration and reopening efforts following the February 1993 bombing. John Picone, property manager, wore this windbreaker as part of the Move Back Team.
