Description Two key fobs attached to a brass ball chain belonging to Kenneth Wilburn White, Jr. One is an orange key fob with the "Nautica" logo, and the other fob has an image of the globe on the front.
Historical Notes Brooklyn-born Kenneth White lived in Richmond Valley, Staten Island, with his wife, Catherine. They had four children. Kenneth enjoyed biking and watching the Manhattan skyline from his sailboat. An International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 member, he worked as a telecommunications technician at Cantor Fitzgerald. On September 11, he was on the North Tower’s 105th floor. He was 50 years old.
Curator's Comment In 2000, telecommunications technician Kenneth White purchased a 29-foot sailboat named We Agreed. He docked it at the Richmond County Yacht Club on Staten Island, where he resided, and spent free time taking boating safety classes and lavishing care on the craft. Five days before the 9/11 attacks, he and his wife, Catherine, spent an evening together on the water, relaxing on the boat while admiring the Manhattan skyline. HIDE
