Curator's Comment On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, as on any business day, tens of thousands of people commuted to the World Trade Center and lower Manhattan by car, ferry, subway, bus, bicycle, and train. Erik Isbrandtsen, a trader for Cantor Fitzgerald, rode the subway from his home in Manhattan to reach his job on the 104th floor of the North Tower. This MetroCard was recovered after 9/11. HIDE
