Description
Spartan Security uniform patch. The shield-shaped patch is dark blue with white embroidered trim and text that reads: "WTC | SPARTAN SECURITY." A light blue graphic of the Twin Towers is also embroidered on the patch.

Historical Notes
A native of lower Manhattan, Anthony LaRocca worked in the World Trade Center between 1979 and 1986, serving as a security guard, elevator starter, and other roles that made him familiar with the layout and back-of-house functioning of the Twin Towers. His gift to the Museum includes uniform patches that reflect changes in the companies contracted to provide security services in the complex.
