Mark Bingham lost his life aboard UNITED Flight 93 when it crashed in Pennsylvania on Tuesday 9/11/01.
Mark called his mother from the plane and stood up against the terrorists.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Mark Bingham lived in San Francisco, California, and traveled often to New York City. He owned The Bingham Group, a public relations firm with offices in both cities. A rugby player, Mark helped establish teams open to people of color, women, and gay men. On September 11, Mark boarded Flight 93 en route to San Francisco to attend a fraternity brother’s wedding. He was 31 years old.
