NYPD K-9 harness. The harness is black with reflective yellow labels on either side that read "POLICE" printed in black text. The harness is affixable to the animal with adjustable Velcro and a quick release buckle.

Historical Notes
NYPD Officer Robert Schnelle and his canine partner Atlas, a German shepherd, deployed to lower Manhattan on the morning of September 11, 2001. Together, the two searched 7 World Trade Center before its collapse and continued to work at Ground Zero until the recovery concluded in May 2002.
Atlas held the rank of Detective. This was his harness.
