DescriptionLocated at bedrock level in the 9/11 Museum are the remains of steel columns, hollow and rectangular, cut to level elevation.
The North Tower footprint was originally outlined by 84 columns. Approximately 55 column remnants still exist within the Museum space along the east, south, and west footprint of the North Tower.
18 additional column remnants along the north side of the footprint are accounted for along the
North Tower Excavation.
