Historical Notes
Danny Correa-Gutierrez moved from Colombia to the United States at age two and grew up in New Jersey. As an adult, he lived in Fairview and had a daughter. Employed in the accounting department at Marsh & McLennan, Danny was also a musician and poet. About his 98th-floor North Tower office, he wrote: “I dance in the clouds and soak in the haze.” On September 11, Danny was at work. He was 25 years old.
