DescriptionLocated at bedrock level in the 9/11 Museum are the remains of steel columns, hollow and rectangular, cut to level elevation.
The South Tower footprint was originally outlined by 73 columns. Approximately 28 column remnants still exist within the Museum space along the west and north footprint of the South Tower.
10 additional columns remnants along the south side of the footprint are accounted for along the
South Tower Excavation.
