Historical Notes
Charles Kaczorowski, known as "Charlie K," was a construction manager for the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC). He wore this lanyard when he worked at Ground Zero as the overnight shift supervisor during the recovery period at Ground Zero. Kaczorowski worked at the site for 10 months, clocking 2,274 hours.
Kaczorowski passed away in March 2022.
