Brochure advertisement for Week 1 of "The World of Great Food" event at the World Trade Center featuring "Breakfast." The brochure is printed on yellow paper and features an illustration of the Twin Towers with a character at the top eating. A piece of bacon is floating like a cloud in the sky. Printed text at the top reads: "The Restaurants of the World Trade Center invite you to experience | the 'World of Great Food' | A five-week nonstop indulgence in the art of good eating | Week 1: March 14-20 | BREAKFAST."
Inside the brochure are printed graphics and information about the two best power breakfasts at the World Trade Center, 1) Windows on the World and 2) The American Harvest restaurant at the Vista Hotel. The Skydive, The Corner, and Big Kitchen are also mentioned. The back of the brochure includes a list of restaurants at the World Trade Center.
During the 1980s, advertising firm, Comart, contracted with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to create promotional material for stores and restaurants on the Concourse level of the World Trade Center. Judith Pucci, donor and creator of many of these brochures and advertisements recalled, “These materials speak to the daily retail life of the World Trade Center, one of the multiple facets of the complex that made the Trade Center a source of entertainment and shopping, as well as a workplace.”
