Brochure advertisement for Week 2 of "The World of Great Food" event at the World Trade Center featuring "Lunch." The brochure is printed on green paper and features an illustration of the Twin Towers with a character at the top reaching out for a burger that is floating in the sky, along with other dishes. Printed text at the top reads: "The Restaurants of the World Trade Center invite you to experience | the 'World of Great Food' | A five-week nonstop indulgence in the art of good eating | Week 2: March 21-27 | LUNCH."
Inside the brochure are printed graphics and information about the variety of ways to enjoy lunch at the World Trade Center such as The Tall Ships, The American Harvest, Greenhouse, and The Club at the Windows on the World. A graphic of "The Big Kitchen" on the Concourse level is also included. More information about other restaurant options is printed on the back.
During the 1980s, advertising firm, Comart, contracted with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to create promotional material for stores and restaurants on the Concourse level of the World Trade Center. Judith Pucci, donor and creator of many of these brochures and advertisements recalled, “These materials speak to the daily retail life of the World Trade Center, one of the multiple facets of the complex that made the Trade Center a source of entertainment and shopping, as well as a workplace.”
