White fabric lanyard with "FDNY...Never Forget | Morning Pride Pro-Warrington" printed in blue text. Attached to the lanyard is a clear plastic sleeve with a paper ticket inside. The ticket is for the FDNY Memorial Day 2002 ceremony at Madison Square Garden on October 12, 2002. This lanyard and ticket were given to the family of Peter L. Freund.

Historical Notes
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Peter Freund lived in Westtown, New York, with his wife, Robin, her son, and their three school-age children. Peter built a backyard observatory for his telescope and spent time stargazing with Robin as they listened to music by the Grateful Dead. A member of FDNY Engine Company 55, Lieutenant Freund was seen in a North Tower stairwell on September 11. He was 45 years old.
