Description
FDNY Engine 314 patch. The patch is a yellow Maltese cross with black threaded trim. "F.D.N.Y. | ON THE EDGE | ENGINE–314" is embroidered in red in the crossbars. The center of the patch is an embroidered image of a small red firehouse with a fire engine parked inside. "Rosedale" is embroidered on the street in red, and in the background is the New York City skyline with the Twin Towers and an airplane.
Historical Notes
Located in Jamaica, Queens, FDNY Engine 314 members responded to Ground Zero and assisted with the rescue and recovery efforts at the site after the collapse of the Twin Towers.
