Historical Notes
Born in Centereach on Long Island, Matthew O’Mahony lived in Manhattan with his wife, Lauren. The couple took annual vacations to Paris. Matthew also enjoyed fishing on weekends at their upstate New York farmhouse. On September 11, Matthew was on the 105th floor of the North Tower at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he worked as a trader. He was 39 years old.
Glen Wall grew up in Lynbrook on Long Island. As an adult, he lived with his wife, Diane, and their two young daughters in a home near the water in Rumson, New Jersey. He often took his motorboat out fishing, then grilled his catch for a family meal. On September 11, Glen was at work on the North Tower’s 105th floor at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was a partner and senior vice president. He was 38 years old.
