Historical Notes
Stephen Hoffman grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, playing on its community football team, the Falcons. Years later, after settling in Long Beach, Long Island, with his wife, Gabrielle, and their daughter, he rejoined his childhood team as a coach. On September 11, Stephen was on the 104th floor of the North Tower at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was a bond broker. Stephen was 36 years old.
