Description
Recovered wristwatch belonging to Rosemary A. Smith. The case and bezel of the watch is rectangular and silver, the inner face is light blue with silver dials and numbers. The crystal is completely missing and the watch is stopped a few seconds before 1:00. The watch band is light blue and detached from the face on one side. The silver watch buckle is still clasped. The watch is encrusted with dust and has a small evidence tag still attached.

Historical Notes
Brooklyn-born Rosemary Smith lived in Travis, Staten Island, with her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Rosemary spoke of one day starting a business making chocolates. In the meantime, she filled orders from friends for homemade candy and worked at Sidley Austin Brown & Wood as a switchboard operator. On September 11, she was at her office on the North Tower’s 57th floor. She was 61 years old.
