Handwritten note left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Monique Effie DeJesus. The post-it note reads:
"Monique, | Not a day goes by that | we don't think of you. | Your kindred spirit and | beautiful smile! | You are now one of our | angels...we will never forget. | With lots of love | Marcy, Ari, Rene & Nydia | (124 Franklin Ave Family)."

Historical Notes
A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, Monique DeJesus was known as her family’s event planner, and she set up friends and relatives with dates and job prospects. She met her boyfriend, Lloyd Brown, on the job at Cantor Fitzgerald, where she worked as an administrative assistant. On September 11, both were at their offices high in the North Tower. Monique was 28 years old.
