Movie poster for the film Fools Rush In, 1997. The poster features a facial close-up of the actors, Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek. He is giving her a side-eye stare while her face is a profile with her eyes closed and bared teeth close to his cheek. Their names are printed at the top of the poster. At the bottom of the poster is the title "Fools Rush In" printed in bold red text with "An impulsive love story" printed below. A image behind the title text depicts the desert on the left and the Manhattan skyline on the right. Two cacti on the left are juxtaposed against the Twin Towers on the right. In between is the film's tag line: "What if finding the love of your life meant changing the life that you loved?" At the bottom of the poster is the cast and production information. The film was rated PG-13.
Until their destruction on 9/11, the Twin Towers dominated the Manhattan skyline. Symbols of American ingenuity and audacity, they provided an immediate visual association with the irrepressible vitality of New York City. Appearing again and again in the movies, the towers became permanently etched into the public imagination.
