Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Lawrence Kim lived in New York City. His interests ranged from reading the writings of Heidegger and Freud to listening to singer Céline Dion to watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play football. On September 10, Lawrence joined Marsh & McLennan as a senior manager of information technology. The next day he was at work on the North Tower’s 92nd floor. Lawrence was 31 years old.
