Plaque from SO15 Counter Terrorism Command. The wooden plaque has gold-colored banners on the top and bottom that feature printed text: "SO15 COUNTER TERRORISM COMMAND" and "NEW SCOTLAND YARD." In the center is a white shield with a blue printed image of a globe and surrounding text: "COUNTER TERRORISM COMMAND." Historical Notes
After 9/11, the U.S. government mobilized intelligence and federal law enforcement agencies to share data and expertise with each other, U.S. military partners, international allies, and local informants to combat vast terrorist networks. The influx and analysis of recovered items increased dramatically.
Counter Terrorism Command or SO15 is a Specialist Operations branch within London's Metropolitan Police Service.
