Prayer card created in memory of Michael L. Bocchino and left at the 9/11 Memorial. The front of the card features a stylized photograph of Bocchino in his formal FDNY uniform. The back of the card includes printed text: "Firefighter | Michael L. Bocchino | Battalion 48 | 11/25/1955 - 9/11/2001" and the Fireman's Prayer.

Historical Notes
Lifelong Brooklyn resident Michael Bocchino lived with his elderly parents and two uncles. A firefighter for 22 years, Michael kept a scrapbook about blazes he fought. He served as a chief’s aide with FDNY Battalion 48, helping to deploy units. On September 11, Firefighter Bocchino was last seen at the South Tower. He was 45 years old.
