Historical Notes
Jeffrey Coombs grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, and lived in Abington with his wife, Christie, and their three school-age children. Jeffrey was a nature lover who planned activities outdoors with his family and was set to hike the Grand Canyon for 10 days in late September. On September 11, Jeffrey, a security analyst at Compaq, boarded Flight 11 heading to California on business. He was 42 years old.
