Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Waleed Iskandar came to the United States in 1984 to attend college. He enjoyed cycling, water-skiing, and practicing yoga. Waleed lived in London, where he met his fiancée, Nicolette. He was a consultant with Monitor, a management consulting firm. On September 11, after visiting his brother in Boston, Waleed boarded Flight 11 to see his parents in Los Angeles. He was 34 years old.
