Historical Notes San Antonio, Texas, native Karleton Fyfe lived in Brookline, Massachusetts, with his wife, Haven, who was pregnant, and their one-year-old son. With a background in philosophy and economics, Karleton was interested in the way money made the world economy function. He worked as a senior analyst at John Hancock in Boston. On September 11, he boarded Flight 11 for a business trip. He was 31 years old.
