Memorial patch created in memory of Francis Esposito. The patch is a red, yellow, and white Maltese cross with an old-fashioned horse-drawn fire carriage embroidered in the center with "THE EYE OF BED STUY" embroidered below. "ENGINE 235" is embroidered at the top, "FDNY" on the right side, "57 | BATTALION" on the bottom, and "BROOKLYN" on the left side.

Historical Notes
Staten Island native Francis Esposito lived in Tottenville with his wife, Dawn. In 1999, he achieved three of his longtime dreams. In the same month, he got married, bought a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and became an FDNY firefighter. On September 11, Firefighter Esposito responded to the World Trade Center with his unit, Engine Company 235. He was 32 years old.
