Historical Notes
Orasri Liangthanasarn lived in Bayonne, New Jersey, with her sister. After the two moved from their native Thailand to the United States in 1998, Orasri earned a master’s degree in food and nutrition management at New York University. In August 2001, she joined Windows on the World as an administrative assistant. On September 11, Orasri was at work on the North Tower’s 106th floor. She was 26 years old.
