Historical Notes
Native New Yorker Brian Magee lived in Floral Park, Long Island, with his wife, Valerie, whose three grown sons he had helped raise. Every summer, Brian planned a road trip with friends to see different parts of the United States and Canada on their Harley-Davidson motorcycles. On September 11, Brian, a project manager for Compaq, was at a conference on the North Tower’s 106th floor. He was 52 years old.
