Historical NotesGordon Haberman's daughter,
Andrea Lynn Haberman, was at the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001. Unable to reach Andrea after the event, Gordon and the rest of Andrea's family traveled to New York from their home in Wisconsin to search for her. While in the city, Gordon took this photograph and later hung it in the family living room. For almost 10 years, it remained on view in their home until May 2011 when news broke that bin Laden had been found and killed in a hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
