Memorial card created in memory of Patrick John Brown. The front of the card features a photograph of Brown assisting in a rooftop rescue with other members of the FDNY. The back of the card includes a photograph of Brown and printed text: "Captain | Patrick J. Brown | September 11, 2001 | FDNY." Masking tape and a smiley face sticker are attached to the card.

Historical Notes
Oak Park, Illinois, native Patrick Brown lived in Manhattan. He had a psychology degree and karate black belt. Paddy became a U.S. Marine at 17, serving in Vietnam and rising to sergeant. He joined the FDNY in 1977 and was among its most decorated members. On September 11, Captain Brown responded with Ladder Company 3 and was last heard on a phone call from the North Tower’s 35th floor. He was 48 years old.
