Description
Rescue helmet. The helmet is white with a cap-style brim, rubber impact rim, and chin strap. "Hyannis | Fire | Rescue" is printed on the front in red and "HEAVY & TACTICAL RESCUE" printed on both sides in black. The helmet is scuffed and dirty and covered in various trade stickers including an "I [heart] NY" sticker, "MA TF1" sticker for Massachusetts Task Force 1, "Laborers' International Union," "W6," "Metrowest," "Spec Rescue International" and others. A pair of plastic safety glasses are attached to the helmet.

Thomas Kenney, a career firefighter and member of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Urban Search and Rescue Team, wore this helmet when he worked with Massachusetts Task Force 1 at Ground Zero during the recovery period.
