Catherine Salter grew up in Wellsville, Ohio. She attended the University of Cincinnati and joined Aon Corporation’s Cincinnati branch in 1991. Catherine was promoted to assistant vice president in 2000 and transferred to New York. She settled in Brooklyn but kept ties to Ohio, visiting often and buying Cincinnati Reds season tickets. On September 11, she was on the South Tower’s 92nd floor. She was 37 years old.
