Historical Notes New Jersey native Martin Boryczewski grew up in Parsippany and lived in Hoboken. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and dreamed of becoming a fly-fishing guide in Montana. After playing minor league baseball for four years, Martin switched careers, becoming a financial trader. On September 11, he was at work at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of the North Tower. He was 29 years old.
