Description
White plastic water bottle with a red lid and the Home Ground logo printed on the front in blue. The logo includes an image of the Twin Towers, rendered as an American flag, a Maltese cross on the left for the Fire Department, and a shield on the right for the Police Department. Below the towers is a white Star of Life symbol for the Emergency Medical Service. Historical Notes
Home Ground was a support organization for first responders who worked actively on 9/11 and for rescue and recovery workers who participated in the recovery efforts after 9/11. Hosted by the World Trade Center Family Center in Rockville Centre, Long Island, Home Ground was one of the first groups to provide targeted support for the recovery worker community.
