Historical Notes
The Gift of New York was a nor-for-profit initiative that provided 9/11 family members with access, at no cost, to a variety of the New York area's theatrical, artistic, cultural, sports, and live entertainment venues. During the 18 month program, 2,300 families registered, 65,000 tickets were donated, and 261 arts, entertainment, and cultural institutions participated.
