Born in Oceanside, Long Island, Thomas Hobbs lived in Baldwin with his wife, Allison, and their three children. Time outside work went to family. He called his mother daily after his father’s death in 2001 and sped from one field to another to coach his children’s sports teams. On September 11, Thomas was on the North Tower’s 105th floor, where he was a Cantor Fitzgerald energy trader. He was 41 years old.
