Historical Notes Brooklyn-born Joseph Perroncino lived with his parents in Smithtown, Long Island, in a house he was renovating to include space for his pinball machine and arcade games. Joseph also played softball and street hockey and attended New York Islanders games. On September 11, he was on the North Tower’s 101st floor at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was a vice president of operations. Joseph was 33 years old.
