Curator's Comment As a child growing up on Long Island, Andrew Fisher used to swim in his backyard pool. He developed a passion for competitive swimming as an adult, participating in meets as a dedicated member of the Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) Masters Swim Team. After the 9/11 attacks, a scholarship was created in honor of Andrew and fellow AGUA Masters Swim Team member and 9/11 victim Douglas Irgnag. It offers financial support to youths who want to pursue competitive swimming at Asphalt Green. HIDE
