Historical Notes A native of Huntington on Long Island, James Reilly lived in Manhattan. His extended family appreciated James’s ability to make people laugh. To amuse his young nieces and nephews, he once squeezed his nearly six-foot frame into a child-size electronic train. On September 11, James was on the South Tower’s 89th floor at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, where he worked as a bond trader. He was 25 years old.
