Historical Notes
Brooklyn native Adriane Scibetta grew up in Bensonhurst. She lived with her husband, Charles, and their two young children in Annadale, Staten Island, where she kept a garden. Adriane talked of leaving her accounting job at Cantor Fitzgerald to return to college and become a math teacher. On September 11, she was at Cantor’s offices on the North Tower’s 101st floor. Adriane was 31 years old.
