Raised in Santa Maria, California, Janet Gustafson lived in Manhattan with her husband, David. They had two children. Janet was a longtime Sunday school teacher at her Presbyterian church. At Aon Corporation, coworkers noted her sense of fun. At an office Christmas party, she once tied napkins into a jump rope. Janet was at work on the South Tower’s 99th floor on September 11. She was 48 years old.
