Jason Cefalu was born in Franklin Square, Long Island, and lived in Manhattan. He enjoyed fishing and took fishing trips to Long Beach and Key West, Florida. While attending Hofstra University, he had been a member of its Young Republicans group and worked on political campaigns. On September 11, Jason, a bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald, was at work on the North Tower’s 105th floor. He was 30 years old.
