Historical Notes
Doreen Angrisani was born in New York City. She lived in Queens with her brother-in-law and her sister, who said her two children regarded Doreen as a second mother. Doreen’s passions included the New York Mets and the rock music of Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin. On September 11, Doreen, a finance manager at Marsh & McLennan, went to work on the 98th floor of the North Tower. She was 44 years old.
