Historical Notes New Brighton, New Jersey, native Louis Fersini lived with his wife, Cathy, and their four children in Basking Ridge. He was a weekend golfer and coached his children’s sports teams. Neighborhood children knew him as Uncle Lou, host of pool parties and barbecues. On September 11, Louis was on the North Tower’s 104th floor at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was a municipal bond broker. Louis was 38 years old.
