World Trade Center as a Cloud
Description
Part of the series titled World Trade Center as a Cloud, created by Christopher Saucedo. The piece is composed of handmade blue paper and uses pressed linen pulp, shaped using a stencil, to create a white cloud resembling the World Trade Center complex.
Historical Notes
Christopher Saucedo created this image by pressing layers of fine white linen pulp onto a large blue field of handmade paper. The forms appear to be floating clouds, but on closer inspection, they can be viewed as ethereal representations of the World Trade Center.
