Historical Notes
A lifelong resident of Queens, Michael Marti lived in the borough’s Glendale neighborhood with his parents. He enjoyed weightlifting and basketball and could often be found washing and polishing his treasured car, a red 1985 Camaro. Michael was employed as a broker at Cantor Fitzgerald. On September 11, he was at work on the 104th floor of the North Tower. Michael was 26 years old.
