Historical Notes
James Cartier, a lifelong resident of Queens, lived with his brother, one of his six siblings, in Astoria. James belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 and became an active member of its motorcycle club. He worked as an electrician for P.E. Stone. On September 11, James was working on a project at Aon Corporation on the South Tower’s 92nd floor. He was 26 years old.
